A large percentage of the families of the chemically dependent are strongly affected by the adverse and devastating effects of alcohol/drug abuse and addiction. Such conditions damage relationships within the family: spouse and child abuse, divorce, loss of jobs, poor physical and mental health, crime, incarceration, and death, etc.

Given such situations, Oakmont encourages family members to participate throughout a client’s treatment cycle so as to better deal with their own associated problems caused by chemical abuse/addiction.
